Madeleine Hladky
Writing Fellow Class of 2026 Major: English Minor: Religious Studies A place that feels like home: The beach! My name is Madeleine and I am a senior English major. I am looking forward to continuing to work with students as both a Writing Advisor and Writing Fellow. I am excited to help my peers feel less intimidated by the writing process and more confident in their work! When I am not at the Writing Center, I love to go on hikes, go to the beach, read a good book, and spend time with friends.

Class of 2026 Major: American Studies Minor: Black Studies and Politics A place that feels like home: Bear Valley, CA My name is Olivia and I’m a senior American Studies major, with Black Studies & Politics minors. I’m very excited for the upcoming school year, and taking in every moment I have in the WC with friends and advisees, as I enter my last year as a student at Oxy. Class of 2026 Major: American Studies Minor: Black Studies and History A place that feels like home: Harstine Island My name is Lyn, and I am a senior studying American Studies major at Oxy. I am so excited to return and continue working at the Writing Center this year to support my peers and their writing processes. I love learning about music, planes, Queer history, and cooking. I'm from Pasadena, CA, and this is my first year working at the Writing Center. As a writing advisor, I am most looking forward to hearing about what interesting topics students are writing about.
