Oxy Immigration Check-In

All F-1 and J-1 students are required to complete an Immigration Check In each semester. During the first three weeks of classes each semester, all international students are required to update certain information and upload scans of documents. Students will be sent a request for this information by email with an Immigration Check In link. An incomplete or delayed IPO clearance/check in process may result in your being out of status and termination in the SEVIS system. Please begin the renewal process when your passport is within six months of expiration. Moreover, please ensure that you are filing your taxes correctly, for more information, visit .

Letter / Service Request

If you need a letter to open a bank account, to make an appointment at DMV or Social Security Card office, or simply need to notify a change or important update. Please use these services. Allow 2-3 business days for your letter or service to be completed.

Student Event Co-Sponsorship

Student organizations officially registered with SLICE/ASOC or Resident Assistants may request IPO event co-sponsorship by completing a  . Events must be internationally themed and/or build community for international students. Requests for a single event generally may not exceed $400 and should be made 2 weeks in advance. Funds are transferred directly into the SLICE account or to REHS. Exceptions will be considered by IPO Associate Director Marisa Mofford (mofford@oxy.edu).
