Stacy comes to Oxy after having served nearly 30 years with the Los Angeles Police Department. He steadily ascended through the ranks of the police department, eventually attaining the rank of commander. While a police captain, Stacy served as LAPD’s Public Information Director. Oxy and the Campus Safety Department benefit from his experience with investigations, training, professional standards, and emergency services.

Stacy holds a BS in behavioral science from the University of La Verne and an MS in emergency services administration from Cal State University, Long Beach. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Westpoint Leadership Program, Sherman Block Supervisory Institute, FBI National Academy, Police Executive Research Forum Senior (PERF) Management Institute for Police (SMIP). Stacy also completed the University of Southern California (USC) Public Safety Leadership Program.

Stacy belongs to the FBI NA Association, the California Colleges and Universities Chiefs of Police Association and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. He exercises a servant leader style and is committed to community engagement.
