Johnny Buc Lockwood is a dedicated mentor and leader who draws on a rich background in athletics, the arts, and education to help young people pursue their goals. Recruited from Andover to play varsity hockey and baseball at The University of Vermont, he received a BA in English, afterward becoming a Research Fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Politics. Buc spent time in his career on Wall St. and in a band based in NYC having signed a record contract. He co-founded The 42 Initiative with John Branca to bring together youth from all backgrounds through Club 42 programs in sports, esports, music, and dance—creating spaces where teamwork, discipline, and creativity thrive. Johnny Buc is currently a senior research associate at The Harvard Business School and is also a signed artist with Curb-Universal Music Group.
