Jason Baker is a clinical and developmental psychologist who studies biopsychosocial predictors of well-being in neurodivergent youth and their families. 

Jason Baker is a clinical and developmental psychologist who studies biopsychosocial predictors of well-being in neurodivergent youth and their families. He earned degrees from UCLA and Penn State and held postdoctoral positions funded by the National Institutes of Health at the University of Miami and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining Occidental, Dr. Baker taught for 15 years at California State University, Fullerton, where he co-founded and co-directed the university’s Center for Autism. He is a licensed clinical psychologist (#34030) and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Family Psychology. Dr. Baker is a past President and Fellow of Division 33 of the American Psychological Association and currently serves as their Senior Scientific Communications Officer.
